In select chapters, WELD partners with organizations to create annual leadership censuses that show how women are faring in top leadership in the region.  The goal of the annual report is to highlight the positive economic impact that women can have by bringing diversity to senior leadership roles. This report tracks how a region stacks up with other locations throughout the country and tracks the growth of women in important roles.

The leadership census report shows our strengths and weaknesses when it comes to featuring women in key leadership positions. The report typically focuses on five broad categories which include the following: publicly traded companies, the largest private companies, governmental jurisdictions, colleges and universities and non-profit organizations. It shows the number of women on the boards, women as chief executives and female executive officers for these organizations and grades our progress nationally.
