Research performed by US Aid From The American People shows that “a woman multiplies the impact of an investment made in her future by extending benefits to the world around her, creating a better life for her family and building a strong community.” This research also uncovered that “countries where women’s share of seats in political bodies is greater than 30% are more inclusive, egalitarian, and democratic.” Investing in women fuels our economy and this strengthens our communities. It is one of the best levers to alleviate poverty and have healthier families. Women prioritize their resources to strengthen families and communities.
