Companies with higher numbers of women on their boards financially outperform companies with no women on their boards. When women are at the table, the quality of decisions is better, leading to stronger performance. Companies with diverse associate bases, practice inclusion and fully utilize their talent have better retention. Diversity fosters increased innovation and group performance. WELD builds awareness about the business case for women’s leadership. Through our programs and events, WELD educates the communities we serve on the relevance and importance of developing and advancing women’s leadership. We collaborate with like-minded organizations to promote our mission and provide resources and information to move from “conversation” to “action.” We track women’s leadership in our companies and organizations.
