Women are starting businesses at rates never witnessed before, adding jobs, creating wealth and strengthening communities.  Surrounding these entrepreneurs with a community of support is central to their success. WELD is part of that community and we proudly welcome entrepreneurs to our programs and events to grow their leadership skills and expand their connections.

One of the best investments a community with a struggling economy can make is to invest in women-owned businesses and microenterprises.  Incremental earnings achieved by these businesses are reinvested in families, back into the businesses and into communities.
