WELD’s mission is to develop and advance women’s leadership to strengthen the economic prosperity of the communities it serves. We provide women with specific tools and skills to enhance their individual economic status. Our efforts help mobilize women to become more active participants in the leadership of area businesses, civic organizations and government. We build programs, events, and a community to support leadership development and business growth. WELD’s vision is to be the national model for implementing strategies to advance women to higher levels of leadership and economic strength. We deploy significant financial and influential resources to accelerate educational programming and relevant research missions. Stronger Businesses.
