WELD is excited to share that its cultivation event in Charleston successfully led to a “move forward” vote for a Charleston chapter! This event, with over 140 business and community leaders having registered, was its largest cultivation event yet. Event committee member Cynthia Persily opened the event with a warm Charleston welcome. We were honored to have United States Senator Shelley Moore Capito, WV, speak on the agenda and share comments on the importance of women’s leadership. Additional speakers included Katie Capito, Lois Crichton, Cindy Wiseman, Francie Henry and Barb Smoot.
