Finding Your Second Career

WELD Columbus is excited to kick off our 2020 Executive Women’s Series with Diane Menashe, Partner, Director of Litigation Training & Pro Bono Activities, Ice Miller. Whether or not you have considered a next step, Diane will provide insight on when and if that decision is right for you when she presents on Finding Your Second Career.

We’ve all most likely been in many jobs or careers in our lives. As women we must be proactive about our future. We have to be intentional and deliberate. Our careers weren’t handed to us. We worked hard for them and it’s that hard work that makes us hesitant to think beyond what we have achieved.

What is right for us today may well not be what is right for us in five years or even ten years. So, we need to start asking the questions now rather than when it’s too late:

• How do we apply our passions to our profession?

• How do we define our long term goals?

• How do we figure out what we individually need to have work/life balance?

• How to we use our personal and professional networks to find new career opportunities?
